Paige from the USA, art museum manager
American student Paige Jarrett gained an MA (Honours) degree in Art History and International Relations at the University of St Andrews in Scotland, then an MSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Now, she is pursuing her dream career as a Manager at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
'I am originally from the United States, but chose to pursue my higher education in the United Kingdom because I wanted to gain international experience. I have always been interested in history and culture, and so the UK was the perfect place for me to study.
'I absolutely loved my time at the University of St Andrews and the London School of Economics. Not only did I earn degrees that have helped me get a position at an art museum (my dream place to work!), I had the perfect platform to travel and to learn from the many other international students around me.
'They say the world is small, but studying abroad taught me that the world is actually pretty big. There is so much to see and experience, and for me, exploring the world during my university years was the perfect time. I wouldn't trade my experience for anything!
'I met friends who I am still really close to and enjoy travelling to visit, because they live all over the world.'

'I also met my husband, Harish, while studying at the University of St Andrews, and now we are getting ready to celebrate our 10-year anniversary.
'St Andrews will always be a special place for me because I had such a wonderful time there, learned a lot, and really grew as a person. It was an incredible experience and I feel very fortunate.'
