BAC
OVERVIEW

Established in the year 1985, Cavendish is an accredited college offering high-quality further and higher education courses leading to internationally recognised qualifications. Students enjoy and benefit from the international and multicultural environment, which contributes to an unforgettable study experience. The College welcomes male and female students of any nationality.

Academic strengths
Cavendish College is accredited by the British Accreditation Council for Independent Further and Higher Education. It is now one of the leading educational centres in the private sector offering a broad range of high quality full-time and part-time courses. All our courses are widely recognised in academia, commerce and industry.

Based in modern, well-equipped and purpose-built premises in central London, Cavendish College specialises in teaching professional and vocational courses from certificate to postgraduate diploma level, as well as BA/BSc degrees and MBA qualifications.

All courses are practically oriented but have a sound theoretical content, enabling students to go directly into employment on completion of their studies or continue with higher level professional or university programmes. All courses lead to internationally recognised qualifications. Cavendish College welcomes students from all parts of the world and aims to offer courses designed to meet the demands of the global marketplace.

Within a study programme, the directors of course development and planning at Cavendish aim to provide a basic working understanding of the subjects, then further exploration and analysis, and ultimately the application of acquired knowledge and skills to practical, everyday work situations.

Courses are updated on a regular basis, to incorporate the latest findings, developments, theories and practices, ensuring that they continue as passports to further academic and professional career opportunities.

Facilities
Cavendish College occupies two well resourced buildings in the very centre of London with its teaching accommodation specifically designed to meet the requirements of the arts, business and related technology-based education.

In addition to the numerous well equipped classrooms, there are five computer laboratories and nine fully-equipped specialist art, design and new media studios. Outside of class hours, students may study in the College’s extensive Learning Resources Centre with additional access to a separate private study area for group work and Internet access.

In recognition of the international profile of its students and the necessity for them to acquire competent language and communication skills, support English and academic writing classes are offered to all full-time students free of charge.

During breaks, between study periods or after college, students can relax in the student café, where a range of beverages and hot and cold foods are available. There is also wireless internet access throughout the College premises.

Student life
Adjusting to life in London and trying to settle down in a new environment can represent a major step for some students. Students who have any queries about student visas, work permits or Home Office regulations will find the admissions staff happy to help.

Cavendish College offers a counselling service to students and will assist and advise students on matters regarding their current or future studies and on their career development. Welfare support and counselling is available for students who want additional help in settling in the UK or needing guidance in personal matters in order to achieve their full academic potential.
