Keele encourages its students to develop their skills outside the classroom and so we have sports facilities on campus, a wide range of student societies and opportunities to work in the local community. Paid part-time work is easily found and many of our students are employed on campus in the restaurants and eating places and in the Students' Union.
Keele aims to be the Ultimate Campus University for the 21st Century and is undertaking a major programme of building expansion. We already have a fully-integrated science and business park on campus and there are links with the businesses and small industries that are based there. We are also committed to a green policy that will see us reducing our impact on the environment and on global resources by generating our own energy using sustainable resources available on the campus.
Keele's strengths very much lie in its commitment to its student body and to supporting and encouraging all our students during their time at Keele. We have one of the lowest drop-out rates of UK universities and some of the highest attainments in bachelor and master's degrees. Our undergraduate students are all assigned a personal tutor who will support them during their time at Keele and postgraduate students have close links with the Course Director for their subject.
Keele has links and partnerships across the world, and some of its degree courses are offered in Malaysia and Sri Lanka.
