Student life
London is a great place to study and live, providing endless opportunities. With excellent transport links from our campuses, experiencing all London has to offer, as well as travelling to other parts of the UK and Europe, is easy. Home to some of the world’s most famous museums, art galleries, theatres, clubs, parks, tourist attractions and concert venues, the UK’s capital offers so many things to do and see. London also has a huge variety of work and career opportunities.

The Students’ Union is central to student social life, organising musical events, balls, parties and excursions as well as clubs and societies. On-campus restaurants, bars and cafes mean there are plenty of places to meet and socialise with new friends from all over the world. The International Office also runs an exciting ongoing programme of events and trips for overseas students.

Student profile
Fahd Khaldi, Morocco (Chevening Scholar)

I chose to study on UEL's MA Media Studies as it offers the ideal balance of practical and theoretical work. I also chose UEL because of its high standard of education and attractive location in London. My experience here has definitely been a rewarding one. The warm and friendly welcome I received when I first arrived, the excellent quality of teaching, the energetic student life and the vibrant atmosphere on campus have all made my time here very satisfying. The long list of excellent facilities and services includes a state of the art brand new library and multimedia equipment, helpful online resources, a careers advisory and employability unit and a variety of other useful personal and learning support services. There are also great social opportunities both on campus and in London.

I am glad I made the choice to become part of UEL's global community while also making important steps towards my future career.
