With origins dating back to the 19th century, Dudley College has adapted to 21st century demands by combining traditional, quality education and value for money with innovative academic programmes designed to provide international students with cost-effective routes into UK universities. Dudley College offers, in addition to A-levels, Foundation courses and Higher National Diplomas, an extensive range of vocational programmes including art & design, beauty, business, computing, construction, engineering, fashion, film, fitness, graphics, hairdressing, holistic therapies, interior design, media, performing arts, photography, science, sports and travel & tourism.
The main campus houses Lexis, the English UK accredited English Language Centre (IELTS and general English), the A-level Academy, as well as our state of the art Engineering Laboratories. Our International Glass Centre is located at the Brierley Hill campus, and the Motor Vehicle Centre is in Dudley town centre. Art and Design courses are taught at our Mons Hill campus, along with Refrigeration and Air Conditioning courses.
International students are integrated into classes with UK students whenever possible; our award-winning International Support team will help you from before you arrive in the UK, throughout your course and will help you select a suitable degree course. Representatives from local universities visit the campus throughout the year. Staff will help you with finding a part-time job, registering with a doctor, opening a bank account, renewing your visa etc.
Dudley is located at the centre of the national road and rail network, so sightseeing in England and Wales is easy; London is 90 minutes away by rail, Manchester one hour. Birmingham, the UK's Second City, is just 15 kilometres away, and is a major centre for culture, theatre, leisure, shopping, entertainment and first class sports events and faculties. Students are recommended to fly to Birmingham International Airport - there is a free pick up service for international students on long-term courses.
