Royal Holloway is ranked among the UK’s top university institutions for both teaching and research. Since Queen Victoria presided over the grand opening ceremony in 1886, the College has continued to grow in size and status, building on the excellence of our scholarship and talents of our students. Academic strengths
A research-intensive institution with consistently high rankings in the Research Assessment Excercise, the College offers degree programmes in three faculties: Arts, Science, and History and Social Sciences. In addition to single honours degrees, students can opt for joint honours and major-minor courses.
