Royal Holloway is ranked among the UK’s top university institutions for both teaching and research. Since Queen Victoria presided over the grand opening ceremony in 1886, the College has continued to grow in size and status, building on the excellence of our scholarship and talents of our students. The College now has a student population of around 8,000, with students from over 130 countries.
Academic strengths
