Qualifying Details
A PhD can be funded by working as a Research Assistant (RA) for a specific research project within the School of Psychology. Such Research Assistantships are usually funded through grants to individual researchers in the School. Whenever the supervisor of the project agrees, the RA can apply for the PhD program. If accepted, the RA's tuition fees are waived. RAE 2008 saw Bangor Psychology rated 7th (out of 76) for research power, which measures the combination of quantity & quality
