Cherwell College Oxford is a pre-university tutorial college in Oxford. The College provides an exciting and challenging opportunity of studying in a mature, yet informal and friendly academic environment.
The Collegeoffers a range of options for full-time academic study for students aged between 14 and 19 years old).
Cherwell College Oxford is different to other conventional boarding schools: its focus lies on preparing students for university life through carefully tailored one-to-one tuition to enable entry to Russell Group Universities (and leading international universities).

The Collegealso provides a wide range of short-term courses throughout the year which include:

The main College building is St Georges Mansion - a magnificent five storey Edwardian building offering breathtaking views of the Dreaming Spires and comprising a suite of tutorial and lecture rooms, a supervised study area, a library, a common room with vending machines for students’ use and a computer room. The College Science Faculty is located at Frewin Court (adjacent to the Oxford Union) and provides laboratory facilities for students studying science subjects. The College Art Studio is located at Cantay House, which benefits from ample natural light and incorporates the latest technologies to support Art & Design students through all practical aspects of their course, from textiles and sculpture to photography and graphics.
Situated in the heart of Oxford, Cherwell College Oxford is proud to present its excellent boarding facilities witha campus of en-suite single bedrooms.
Boarding students are accommodated at Cherwell House - a purpose-built student residential accommodation located within the short walking distance from the main study centres.
Life at Cherwell
Cherwell College Oxford has an established tradition with the Oxford Union where its students become members of the Union and are provided with unique opportunity to attend debating workshops and lectures by prominent individuals.
Cherwell students are also members of local gym sports clubs, tennis clubs and equestrian centres.
