Advice to help you plan your UK studies

On this website, you can find lots of information and advice to help you plan your UK education. Have a look at the sections above to find out more.

Search for your dream UK course and find a scholarship

The search tool at the top of the page lists courses and scholarships at over 1,000 further and higher education providers, over 1,000 boarding schools and over 500 English language centres!

  • Select Learn English to find English language courses and qualifications. You will be asked to select a course type or qualification. On the next page, you can filter your search by course length, age range, number of tuition hours per week, type of accommodation provided, tuition price or start date.
  • Select Boarding schools to see UK schools which provide accommodation for children and teenagers. You will be asked to select the school type. You can choose between girls’, boys’ and co-educational schools.
  • Select Pre-university academic (e.g. A-levels, IB) for academic courses taken the age of 16, usually in preparation for higher education. You will be asked to enter the subject you’re interested in. After clicking ‘Search’, you will be shown a list of universities and colleges offering courses in that subject. You can then filter your results by qualification, location and study mode, and click through for full details of the courses and the institution.
  • Select Vocational and technical (e.g. NVQ, BTEC, VQ) for practical and career-focused further education courses. You will be asked to enter your subject – start typing and a list of options will appear. Click ‘Search’ to see schools, colleges and universities offering courses in that subject. You may then further filter your results by qualification, location and study mode, and click through to see full details of all the courses at each institution.
  • Select Pathways to higher education for courses which lead to study at university level. You will be asked to enter your subject – start typing and a list of options will appear. After clicking ‘Search’ you will see a list of universities and colleges offering courses in that subject. You may then filter your results by qualification, location and study mode, and click through to see full details of the courses at each institution.
  • Select Undergraduate (e.g. Bachelor’s degree) to browse higher education undergraduate degrees. This includes many foundation degrees, HNDs and DipHEs, bachelors’ degrees and more. Start typing your subject and select from the list that appears. After clicking ‘Search’ you will see universities and colleges offering courses in that subject. You may then further filter your results by qualification, location and study mode, and click through for full details of the courses and the institution.
  • Select Postgraduate (e.g. Master’s degree, PGCE, PhD) for academic courses taken the age of 16, usually in preparation for higher education. You will be asked to enter the subject you’re interested in. After clicking ‘Search’, you will be shown a list of universities and colleges offering courses in that subject. You can then filter your results by qualification, location and study mode, and click through for full details of the courses and the institution.
  • Select MBA to search only for postgraduate MBA (Master of Business Administration) courses. Enter your subject and select from the list of options. After you press the Search button, you will be shown a list of institutions offering courses in that subject. You may further filter your results by qualification, location and study mode, and click through for full details of the courses and institutions.
  • Select Scholarships to find UK scholarships, grants and bursaries – choose the subject you’re interested in, click ‘Search’ and you will be shown a list of scholarships in that subject. You may filter by your nationality and the level at which the scholarship is offered.
  • Select Uni/college/school to search for a particular school, college, university or English language centre by name. Start typing the name of an institution – it will appear on the list and you can select it to go straight to the institution’s profile page.

What next?

  • Once you have found some UK courses, scholarships or institutions you are interested in, you can add them to your shortlist. This is a handy way for you to store your favourites and compare them.
