London to Brighton Veteran Car Run
2 November 2003
The London to Brighton run was first held in 1896 and is the oldest motoring event in the UK. To be eligible for participation, all cars must have been built before the end of 1904. Many participants enter into the spirit and wear period costume. The run starts from Hyde Park Corner, London and finishes at Madeira Drive, Brighton.

Lord Mayor's Show, City of London

The Lord Mayor's Show features bands, floats, a state procession, military parade, fair in Paternoster Square and includes a firework display on the River Thames as the dramatic finale to the day.
