What's hot and what's not
Justin Timberlake
Justin is truly a superstar. This 21-yearold Memphis native has rocketed to stardom thanks to his sexy performance at the Brit Awards and his infamous relationship with Britney Spears. Justin is also the co-writer of his latest 13-track album, proving he's more than just a pretty face.

Steakhouses
The capital is erupting with new age, trendy steakhouses which offer meals three times bigger than bite-sized, over-priced sushi bars. Enjoy a hefty meal of steak and chips in one of the many such restaurants in London. Perfect on a Sunday afternoon after a big Saturday night out.

Matrix: Reloaded
The hot sequel to the box office smash hit, The Matrix, has opened across the UK. Action packed, the breathtaking special effects will keep you right on the edge of your seat. And if you think you've had enough, think again. Revolution, the third Matrix film will be released in November 2003.

Tolkien
With part three of the Lord of the Rings trilogy - Return of the King - due for release in December 2003, hobbit fever is reaching boiling point. And if you can't wait, you can always read the book. So break out those hobbit ears and delve into the wonderful world of Frodo, Sam, Gollum and friends.

Denim
Although denim has been and will be around for ages, it's recently taken a back seat to combat gear. Shades of khaki, beige and greys far outnumber the shades of denim. Light and flowing fabrics made into shirts, skirts and trousers are the perfect 'to be seen in' outfit this summer.

Reality TV
Back on the 'Not Hot' list of every publication in Britain, television producers have resorted to casting 'hasbeen' actors for their outdoor challenges. The disagreements seem staged and the squabbles trivial and irritating.Very last year… NEXT!

Made-for-TV teenage pop bands
Gone are the days when a bunch of good looking, yet untalented teens, band together, so to speak, to produce clichéd pop music. Advice? Go back to school or university - preferably music school.
Ex-Spice Girls
Girl power reigns no more and Posh, Baby, Sporty, Scary and Ginger have gone their separate ways in the world. Their solo careers have met with varying to low degrees of success and the cries of 'zigga-zig-aaaa' have been silenced throughout the land.
