Surfing the internet wave
Courtesy of the British Council New figures from the Office for National Statistics have revealed that 45 per cent of homes in the UK now have access to the internet. In the 16- to 24-year-old age bracket, 95 per cent had used the internet.
According to the survey, 72 per cent of people use the internet to receive and send email.
It also showed that 48 per cent shop online for everything from groceries to holidays.
