Education
Are you sitting comfortably?
In an innovative collaboration, five UK universities are airing the results of their research on television screens across the globe. Research-TV aims to distribute around eight programmes a week to a total of more than 900 broadcasters.
The universities airing their research are Birmingham, King's College London, Warwick, Cardiff and Oxford. The programmes will feature a diverse range of research topics including the results of a teenage crime survey in Edinburgh, a far-reaching review of the role of UN peace operations and the live broadcast of the opening of an Egyptian canopic jar dating from 1400BC.
