Chichester
Chichester was founded shortly after the Roman invasion of Britain in AD 43 and ever since has been recognised as the county town of West Sussex. The history surrounding the city of Chichester is immense and still clearly visible today.
Chichester is renowned for being one of the only cities in the UK to have both a cathedral and a festival theatre, which has attracted many famous people over the years.
Situated on the coast, the city has much to offer for those who enjoy watersports; from windsurfing to dinghy sailing, it is possible to do it all. The beaches along this part of the coast are very attractive and you can spend long summer days relaxing on the sandy beaches of The Witterings or Bracklesham Bay.
