Nottingham
Nottingham might be best known for its colourful history (not least its famous Robin Hood) but it's a fast-changing, exciting city with a vibrant contemporary scene.

Sport
Nottingham is home to the Trent Cricket Ground and also the National Water Sports Centre at Holme Pierrepont. It's located in 270 acres of country parkland, just three miles from Nottingham on the River Trent, and offers some of the most comprehensive water sports facilities in the UK.
Food
Nottingham is a gourmet's haven. From quality casual dining and wholesome pub grub to sushi by conveyor belt and the intimate sophistication of award-winning restaurants.
Living
The accommodation on offer in Nottingham ranges from self-catering halls through to private lets. Prices are reasonable and students can expect to pay from £1,900 to £3,200 per year (figures for 2002-03) depending on the standard of accommodation.
Out on the town
From England's oldest inn to the latest trendy drinking establishments, Nottingham's 200 bars and pubs offer a great night out.
