The real thing
World-famous names invite students to discover the 'Real UK' Famous UK celebrities and organisations are encouraging students from around the world to find out more about learning and living in the UK.

'Real UK', a new campaign by the British Council, is giving young people from 12 countries the chance to spend two weeks in the UK. They will meet with inspiring personalities, visit leading companies, learn about study opportunities and enjoy some of the UK's top cultural attractions. Celebrities supporting the campaign include Sir Alex Ferguson, Manager of Manchester United football club; Professor Stephen Hawking, author of A Brief History of Time; and paralympic athlete, Tanni Grey-Thompson.

Inventor, James Dyson, said, 'At Dyson, we are led by innovation and new technology… this is truly creative and exciting work. So, I hope that Real UK will show young people from other countries that the UK has a great deal to offer.'
