- Scotland's Saltire Scholarships (students from USA & Canada)
- Amount: £2,000 each
- Eligibility:
- Have an unconditional offer of a place at a Scottish university on an eligible course
- Be a citizen of Canada, the People’s Republic of China, India, or the USA
- Be Able to demonstrate that you can meet the costs of living and remaining tuition fees
- Complete an application form and submit it to your selected institution by the closing date
- Not have completed an undergraduate course in Scotland.
- Garrick Scholarship
- One scholarship is available per year for international full time postgraduate students, to cover full tuition fees for the MA Screen Project Development or MA Screenwriting, or half fees on the MFA Film Practice at Edinburgh Napier University's Screen Academy Scotland.
- Commonwealth Shared Scholarships Scheme
- Joint initiative between the UK Department for International Development (DFID) and UK universities, to support students from developing Commonwealth countries who would not otherwise be able to study a Masters programme in the United Kingdom.

- The Friends of King's College London Association (USA)
- Eligibility: taught graduate programmes in any subject offered at King's
- Amount: $2,000
- Graduate School Studentships
- Eligibility: MPhil/PhD research. Existing King’s MPhil/PhD research students may not apply
- How much is offered? Each studentship will cover tuition fees at home/EU level and provide an annual stipend for up to three or four years, depending on subject area.

- International Scholarship Scheme
- Amount: £2,000 per scholarship
- Selection criteria: Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit and strength of personal statement.
- Eligibility: In order to be eligible you must: be holding an offer for 2010 entry (or 2011 for January start courses) and be an international student (classified as 'overseas' for fee purposes)

- Each year Queen’s University offers a limited range of scholarships for international students applying to postgraduate taught programs (i.e. Master’s degree).

- Queen's University Management School is offering 8 MSc Scholarships for international students from the University's Priority 1 Market (China, India, Malaysia and U.S.A.) enrolling on full-time postgraduate taught programmes for entry in September 2010
- Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Postgraduate Taught Scholarships
- Value: £1500
- The School has developed a scholarship and fee-reduction package available to international students applying for a postgraduate taught course. As an international student you will receive a fee reduction worth £1,500 when you enrol full-time on the MSc or Diploma course.
- Mary McNeill Scholarship in Irish Studies
- Value: £3,000
- Open only to citizens of the USA or Canada, enrolled as overseas students on the MA Irish Studies.
- School of History and Anthropology International Masters Bursaries
- Open to all international (non-UK) applicants.
- Vice Chancellor's Scholarships:
- Value: £1500 to £2000.
- Eligibility for the Vice Chancellor's scholarships will be automatic.
- Roehampton University 2025 Scholarship:
- Value: £4000.
- 20 of these scholarships are available to students at all levels of study, including postgraduate research.
- Roehampton University Sacred Heart Scholarship:
- Tuition fee + free or subsidised accommodation on campus. The scholarships are available to academically excellent students from both within and outside the UK to follow a programme of study (postgraduate or research) at Roehampton University.
- The University of Sheffield International USA Scholarships:
- Value: £1,500 and £2,000 awards, depending on fee level
- Eligibility:
- Students must commence Taught Masters course studies in September 2011.
- Students must be self-funding and classified as overseas for tuition fee purposes.
- Students must be an American national or permanently domiciled in the USA.

- The Fulbright Program and the Marshall Aid Commemoration Commission:
- USA citizens may be eligible for a Fulbright Award or Marshall Scholarship to support their Masters or PhD study.
- International Development Office Scholarships
- Eligibility:
- Above average academic qualifications
- Financial need.
- Value: £1000 - £3000
- Available to all degree seeking subject areas and levels of study.
- Deadline 1 July 2011.

- Fulbright Swansea Tuition Fee Waiver Award

- Fulbright-Warwick Scholarship
- An annual award which supports one US citizen in their first year of postgraduate study on any programme at the University of Warwick.
- Amount: Maximum of £26,500 which is intended as a contribution towards tuition and living costs.
- Application: apply to the University through the normal University postgraduate admissions process and separately submit an application to the Fulbright Commission directly through their website. Applicants should note on their application to the Fulbright Commission that they wish to apply for a ‘Fulbright-Warwick bespoke award’.
- Deadline for the 2011 competition is 18 October 2010.
- Warwick Marshall Scholarship
- Awarded to one US citizen annually to undertake a postgraduate taught or research degree at the University of Warwick, normally for up to two years.
- The award consists of the payment of academic fees at the full overseas rate, a living allowance of £828 per month, airfares to and from the United States, plus additional claimable allowances.
- Eligibility: It is a condition of the award that recipients must enrol on a degree that can be completed within two years. Those applicants who wish to undertake a one-year postgraduate programme must also consider a course of study for their second year. This second year programme could be at the University of Warwick or at a different UK institution.
- If a student is awarded a place on a doctoral programme at the University of Warwick, they will be required to apply to the Marshall Commission for their third year of funding.
- Be citizens of the United States of America (at the time they apply for a scholarship);
- Hold their first undergraduate degree from an accredited four-year college or university in the United States (by the time they take up their scholarship, ie September 2011);
- Have obtained a grade point average of not less than 3.7 (or A-) on their undergraduate degree (exceptions will be considered only on the specific recommendation of the sponsoring college).
- Have graduated from their first undergraduate college or university after April 2008.
- Have not yet studied for, or hold a degree or degree equivalent qualification from, a British university.
- Candidates should apply directly to the Marshall Commission via their online form.
- If selected the Commission endeavours to secure a place at the first choice university and course, however, the decision to accept the scholar ultimately remains with the university.
- The deadline for the 2011 competition is 1 October 2010.
- International Masters Scholarships
- Amount: £8250 (full tuition fees).
- Eligibility:
- There are five of these full tuition fee waiver scholarships available to all non-EU international students. One of these is specifically for students from North or South America.
- To be eligible, students must have been accepted onto one of our Masters degree programmes.
