Aberystwyth University

• Fulbright Wales Summer Institute
  • Award Covers:
    • Round-trip airfare from the US to the UK;
    • Tuition and fees at the three Universities (Cardiff University, Bangor University, and Aberystwyth University);
    • Accommodation and social programme;
    • Subsistence e.g. food and drink
  • Specifically for US Students
  • Students will spend a total of 6 weeks in Wales, at 3 different universities. The final 2 weeks of the programme will be held at Aberystwyth University.
     

University of East Anglia

• British Universities Transatlantic Exchange Association: £500

• As part of the International Exeter initiative, the International Office is pleased to invite applications from students for Study Abroad Scholarships. Funding is being made available to encourage University of Exeter students to take advantage of a study abroad opportunity. We have identified a list of summer schools we recommend offered by key partners and some of the top universities worldwide. Up to 50 scholarships worth 800 pounds each are being made available.

• Study Abroad Excellence Awards:
  • Each semester five King’s Study Abroad Excellence Awards will be available to our most distinguished Study Abroad students in the arts, humanities and social sciences.
  • Amount: £2,500 for students studying one semester, or £3,500 for students studying for the whole academic year.
  • The awards will be made to candidates of outstanding quality, who can best demonstrate how their time at King’s builds on their academic record, and how it will help fulfill their personal and academic ambitions.

Newcastle University

• The Napolitano Student Scholarship
  • Value £3,000.
  • Specifically for American students.
  • The purpose of the scholarship is to promote Anglo-American Relations. It is offered to one student currently studying in the United States, who wishes to undertake any of the University’s four study abroad strands including Pre-Medical, Arts and Social Sciences, Agriculture and Engineering and Business and Finance
• The US Friends Student Scholarship
  • Value $2,000.
  • Specifically for US students.
  • The US friends scholarship is offered, through competitive application, to up to 3 US students undertaking any of the University’s four Study Abroad strands, these include: Pre-medical; Arts and social Sciences; Agriculture and Engineering; Business and finance.
• Fulbright Newcastle University Summer Institute
  • Award covers:
    • Round-trip airfare from the US to the UK;
    • Tuition and fees at the Newcastle University;
    • Accommodation and social programme;
    • Subsistence e.g. food and drink
  • Specifically for US Students
  • Fulbright Commission Newcastle University Summer Institute is a five-week cultural and academic programme for US students and 10 full scholarships are available.

University of Sheffield

• University of Sheffield in America Study Abroad Scholarships:
  • Number and Value:
    • 2 scholarships of £1,000 each for two students joining the University of Sheffield for a full year of study .
    • 4 scholarships of £500 each for students joining the University of Sheffield for the fall semester .
    • 4 scholarships of £500 each for students joining the University of Sheffield for the spring semester
  • Eligibility: Any American national accepting a place at the University of Sheffield Study Abroad Programme is eligible to apply
