Voting for the 2011 competition has now closed and 12 regional winners have been announced from an incredible 1300 entries!
The overall International Student of the Year 2011 was announced at a glamorous award ceremony, hosted by TV presenter Angelica Bell and Radio One DJ Nihal in London.
As well as adding this impressive achievement to their CV, each regional winner takes home £1000 and James Xi Xu managed to add a further £1000 after he scoped the prestigious International Student of the Year! 2011 award.
