'There are thousands of English language courses to choose from in the UK. You can find great courses by using the Education UK Search tool. '
You can seach for an English language course using the Search tool, to the top-right hand of this page. There are two ways of looking for a course using this Search tool:
- Search by type of course
- Search by the institution or town/city where you want to study.
Searching by type of course
- On the 'Courses' tab, locate the 'Choose course category' drop-down. Select 'English language courses' from the drop-down list
- Selet the type of course you want to study from the 'Type of Course' drop-down list below. For example, this might be a IELTS/TEOFL course, a course for English for Academic Purposes (EAP), or another option
- Click on the 'Find' button
- The search results will display a list of institutions where the course you are searching for is offered. Click on an insitution to find out more about the courses offered.
Searching by institution or town/city where you want to study
- On the 'Institutions' tab, select 'English Language Teaching Centres' from the 'Institution type' drop-down list
- Click on the 'Find' button
- The search results will display a list of institutions offering English language courses. Click on an insitution to find out more about the courses offered.
Please note - this Search tool does not list all the English language courses and teaching centres in the UK. There are many other reputable language courses and centres that are not covered by this tool. To find other good options, you could contact organisations such as BAC, ISI and QAA, or look on the internet.
