Making video diaries of your student experience

You don't need to be the next Spielberg to become a Projectorhead. If you can't manage the style, at least get the substance right.

Your video could be about:
  • the friends you've made on your course, accommodation or socially
  • your favourite place in the UK
  • parties, events and festivals you've been to
  • new bands, films, books and shows you've discovered
The possibilities are endless. Just make sure your video shows what the UK means to you as an international student.

You can film your video anyway you like. Talking straight to camera can be very intimate and effective, or you could involve other people. Use close-ups, medium and wide shots. Create drama and texture. Build a narrative. Write a script or draw a storyboard to work from. Don't be afraid to use written words and drawn images on screen.

There are no limits on the number of videos you can upload. So if you've got a sequel or even a trilogy in mind - don't hold back.

Start the camera rolling. Register or login and upload your video now.
