'Smart Talk 智慧课堂2013 - Creative Minds 创意脑动力'
英国教育以其先锋性、探索性的特质，成为了推动前沿学术研究、创意设计、创新学习方法的原动力。
“智慧课堂”形式多样，包括大师课堂、讲座、工作坊。其宗旨在于让中国公众深入了解英国教育，思考英国教育如何通过体验、启发和创新从而激发创造性思维和主动参与的精神。
“智慧课堂”通过“对话式”的方式呈现英国教育的多元选择，及其毕业生的职业发展动态。 “智慧课堂”的演讲主题根据由英国大使馆文化教育处进行的学生调查结果来确定，紧扣当代英国和中国的教育热点。此前的演讲嘉宾包括：著名演员帕特里克•斯图尔特爵士（Sir Patrick Stewart）、克隆先锋伊恩•维姆爵士（Sir Ian Wilmut ）、冒险家马克•博蒙（Mark Beaumont）、以及鞋类设计大师周仰杰拿督(Dato’ Jimmy Choo OBE) 。
今年的“智慧课堂”继续秉承其先锋性和创新性，将邀请一批前沿科学家、先锋设计师，以及精英企业家来访中国，继续为中国听众呈现英国教育的精彩之处。
From breaking new ground in research, to leading the way in the creative design and innovative learning methods, UK Education is well known for its pioneering and exploratory nature.
Smart Talk is a series of master classes, lectures and workshops that has been developed with the aim of giving people in China an insight into UK education, with particular focus on how, via educational experience, inspiration and innovation we can encourage creative thinking and active participation.
The subjects of these dialogues are diverse in nature highlighting not only the wealth of options available in UK education but also the inspiring work, research and adventures that UK graduates have been and are currently involved in. The topics are determined by student surveys and they try to capture the essence of the diversity that we see in modern UK and Chinese education. Previous Smart Talk speakers include actor Sir Patrick Stewart, cloning pioneer Sir Ian Wilmut, adventurer Mark Beaumont and shoe designer Jimmy Choo.
This year, Smart Talk will bring some of the most creative minds and innovative thinkers in the UK to China to share their work with audiences. From exciting young designers to successful entrepreneurs and pioneering scientists to inspirational minds, Smart Talk speakers demonstrate the excellence of a UK education and highlight innovative projects that are coming out of the UK.

Prof. Bruce Hood 布鲁斯 •胡德教授
胡德教授是一位发展认知神经科学家。在剑桥大学获得博士学位后，他先后应邀在麻省理工学院（MIT）和哈佛大学工作。他目前是英国布里斯托大学的社会发展心理学教授，并创建了“布里斯托认知发展中心”。2011年，应大不列颠皇家学院的邀请，胡德教授主持了“2011年圣诞系列讲座”之”认识你的大脑”。讲座通过BBC向超过400万观众进行了转播。
Professor Bruce Hood is a developmental cognitive neuroscientist. After completing his Ph.D. at Cambridge he went onto work at MIT and Harvard. He currently works as Professor of Developmental Psychology in Society at Bristol University, where he established the Bristol Cognitive Development Centre. In 2011, Bruce was appointed by the Royal Institution of Great Britain to give the 2011 Christmas Lecture series on the BBC that was broadcast to over 4 million people.
