'英国大使馆文化教育处为运“球”帷幄足球管理团队挑战赛制订了以下条款和条件。下列条款和条件就是本次竞赛的比赛规则(‘规则’) ,参加竞赛即被视为接受此处规定的条款和条件,并同意遵照其规定行动。'

我们保留在不另行通知的情况下,对以下条款和条件随时做出修改的权力。

比赛从2013年6月开始,到2013年11月下旬结束。

参加运“球”帷幄足球管理团队挑战赛的队伍数目不限。英国大使馆/总领事馆文化教育处拥有对最终参赛队伍名单的决定权。

本次挑战赛面向中国大中学生,参加比赛者必须是中国知名大学或者中学的全日制在读学生。

中学组别将挑战其它的中学组别,大学组别将挑战其它的大学组别。中学组和大学组将会有各自的挑战赛,在任何环节都没有中学组别挑战大学组别的情况出现。

每家学校至少有两支队伍报名参赛,如果一家学校只有一支队伍报名,那么该学校的队伍将不能参加比赛。

每支队伍应由最多不超过4名来自同一家学校的学生组成,同时还可以有一位学校老师或者工作人员担任指导老师。 决赛时,该学校老师或者工作人员应出席并进行现场指导和支持。

挑战赛任务必须由学生参赛队伍独立完成,学校需出具相关证据证明以上这一点。学校教师可向队员解释澄清任务中用到的术语,或者指点学生查阅资料的所在,但不得直接参与任务。教师不应亲自完成任何具体任务,或从事可能对竞赛评估产生影响的任何工作。如果有证据显示教师参与了任务的具体完成工作,其所带队伍将被取消参赛资格。

如果有参赛队伍在网上投票阶段作假,英国大使馆/总领使馆文化教育处将视情况考虑是否取消队伍的参赛资格。

参赛队伍和队员应独立参赛,不得采用其他队伍的成果。在竞赛期间,参赛队伍会有机会在主办方的指导下与其他队伍进行交流。

参赛队伍需具备一定的英文水平,至少有两名成员可以用英文演讲或写作,并且能够回答英国专家评审团提出的问题。

参赛队伍必须有一台能够上网的电脑,电脑上装有Microsoft Office或其他同类软件。

决赛队伍的全体队员和指导老师都必须出席2013年11月23日星期六在广州举行的决赛。

大学组和中学组将分别会有六支队伍进入各自组别于11月23日星期六在广州举行的决赛。

比赛结束后将颁发不同的奖项,总冠军团队将获得英国之旅大奖——全体队员和领队老师将在2014年前往英国进行访问。

所有奖项都是不可转让的,也不能兑换为现金。

不可抗力因素导致的奖项缺失、延迟发放和取消,以及获奖队伍没有及时领奖,英国大使馆/总领使馆文化教育处和考文垂大学将不负任何责任。

参加竞赛并提交任务,即被视为同意英国大使馆/总领事馆文化教育处在平面和网络媒体上采用这些资料,用于宣传本挑战赛并宣传英国教育。

专家评审团做出的决定是最终不可更改的。在比赛期间,各参赛队伍会得到评审团的反馈意见。

总冠军团队将被要求参加与本挑战赛有关的宣传或公关活动。

参赛队伍和队员在注册参赛时提供的联系资料,将受到当今英国数据保护法规的保护。


The British Council has set out below all the terms and conditions which relate to The Pitch challenge. These terms and conditions are the competition rules (‘rules’) and by entering the competition you will be deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions and have agreed to be bound by them.

We reserve the right to alter these terms and conditions/ rules at any time without prior notice.

The competition starts in June and will finish in late November 2013.
 

  • The maximum number of teams who can enter The Pitch challenge is unlimited. The final decision as to which teams will take part is at the discretion of the British Council.
     
  • The challenge is open to Undergraduate university students and senior middle school students, studying full-time at a recognized University or middle school in China at the time of competition entry.
     
  • Middle school teams will compete against other middle school teams and university teams will compete against other university teams, in separate competitions. At no stage will middle school teams have to compete against university teams.
     
  • Participant Universities and middle schools must enter a minimum of two teams in the challenge, and any university or middle school with only one team will not qualify for The Pitch 2013.
     
  • Teams should be made up of four students currently enrolled in the same university or four students studying at the same middle school (plus one lead member of staff from their university/middle school to act as a mentor). For the live final, the mentor or other representative teacher(s) or member(s) of staff should attend to support the team.
     
  • The work submitted to the competition must be the work of the student team only. The teams’ institution will be asked to verify this. Members of staff from the team’s institution may help clarify the task, prompt thinking, explain any technical terms or refer students to helpful information, resources or sources of inspiration only. Members of staff should not undertake the completion of the brief or produce any of the output required for assessment during the competition. If evidence is established that shows that members of staff have unreasonably delivered parts of the brief then the team and institution will be disqualified from The Pitch.
     
  • If it is learnt that any team engaged in foul play during the voting stage, then it is the decision of the British Council as to whether or not the said team shall remain in the competition.
     
  • Teams and team members should work independently of, and should not use material from any other teams. There will be guided opportunities for teams to share ideas during the competition stages.
     
  • Teams must all have an ability to communicate in English. At least two students in the team must have the ability to deliver a presentation in English and to write or answer when asked questions by the UK experts.
     
  • Teams must have access to, and be able to use a computer with an internet connection and that runs on Microsoft Office or equivalent.
     
  • All members of the team must be available to attend the live final in late November 2013 (Saturday 23rd November) accompanied by their mentor or another member of their institution’s teaching staff.
     
  • Six teams from both the middle school level competition and six from the university level competition will be selected as finalists and invited to the live final at the end of November.
     
  • There will be a range of prizes for different categories in the Challenge, and the overall winning team and one member of staff from your institution will win a programmed visit to the UK during 2014.
     
  • All prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered.
     
  • The British Council, Education UK and Coventry University will not be responsible or liable for the unavailability, delay or cancellation of prizes where availability is not within its absolute control or where the prize winner fails to take up a prize.
     
  • By entering the competition and submitting creative ideas, you agree for The British Council and the UK universities to reserve the right to use the outputs in print and online communications to support the delivery of the competition and to promote the value of a UK education.
     
  • The short-listing decisions of the Panel of Experts (judges) will be final and no correspondence on the decisions can be entered into. Feedback from the panel will be given to teams during the competition.
     
  • The winning team may be required to take part in publicity or public relations activities related to the competition.
     
  • Current UK Data protection legislation will be adhered to when collecting student and team contact details.
