UK study visas
If you’re coming to study in the UK from outside of the European Economic Area – you’ll need a student visa. Applying for a student visa
Before you begin your UK education, check to see if you need a visa. If you do, there are several types of study visa, depending on your age, the length of your course and the level at which you plan to study.

You need to bring the following documents with you
- Valid passport
- Visa/entry clearance (if applicable)
- Air ticket
- Vaccination certificates
- X-ray report (if required)
- Letter of acceptance
- Documentary evidence of funds
- Degree certificates or technical qualifications
