‘I came to study at Blackpool Sixth Form College because you get more opportunities to do what you want to do in the UK. Since I’ve been here it’s been so good because I can talk to people and get advice on what I want to do and I’ve been having fun.
'Recently I had an interview at the University of Cambridge. The college gave me coaching on how to talk and be confident about my chosen subject: law. They showed me all the different types of law, like family law and criminal law, and coached me on what to do and how to go about it. They showed me how to use my skills.
'The teaching in the UK is so different from back home. We use a lot of computers. The classrooms are amazing and the teachers are much more interactive in the way they teach. There is also much more group work. I am going to go to university to study law and I’ve got three offers from UK universities already.
'Coming to the UK has given me a definite advantage. If I get a degree from here I can go anywhere in the world and do what I want to do. People will respect me for the degree I have. It’s definitely worth it.’
